During the Winter we are busy preparing for the year ahead.  Let us tell you a story which turned into a new business venture for us...

On a busy bank holiday last year we had a lovely young couple arrive, we welcomed them and gave them a tour of our site. When we had finished showing them the facilities the male guest asked where their tent was!  I explained that we didn't rent tents.  They felt a little disappointed and vowed to check the details in the future!

 

This gave us an idea! 

We have made our very first glamping ready tent which we rent out! We've hand made it using locally sourced materials. We didn't want to buy a tent to hire out, we wanted it to be bespoke and simply made to our own design.

We based our design on vintage scout tents, securing it with rope and solid oak chunky tent pegs.

We chose a soft olive green polycotton canvas for the outer fabric of the tent so it blends into it's natural surroundings perfectly. It also has a lining in a relaxing oatmeal shade.

 

This 7ft x 9ft handmade tent has a solid wooden floor with natural jute covering, a comfortable deep double mattress and 2 large floor cushions, making it perfect for glamping in beautiful Shropshire countryside sleeping under the stars!
