Our beautiful coloured Ryeland sheep are settling into their new home wonderfully, and we’re delighted to offer our staying guests the opportunity to spend some special time with them.
For £20.00 per pitch or B&B room, everyone staying with you can join in, whether you’re a couple, a family or a group of friends.
You’ll have the chance to:

🥕 Help feed them.
📸 Take photographs together.
🐑 Spend some peaceful time getting to know them.
🤍 And, if they’re feeling sociable, perhaps enjoy a little cuddle!
We’ll keep each experience small, relaxed and personal, so that our sheep remain happy and the experience feels like a genuine countryside moment rather than a busy attraction.

If you're exploring Shropshire by bike, Abbey Green Farm makes a wonderfully peaceful base or overnight stop for your cycling adventure.
Set in the beautiful North Shropshire countryside, our small, family-run campsite offers spacious grass pitches, peaceful surroundings and plenty of room to choose a spot that suits you. Whether you're looking for somewhere sheltered from the wind, a shady pitch on a warm day or simply a quiet place to rest after a long day in the saddle, you'll find plenty of space here.
We're also ideally placed for cyclists travelling towards Wales, making us a convenient stop for bikepackers travelling across the Midlands and into Shropshire.
Arrive, pitch and relax
We know that after a full day of cycling, the last thing you may want to do is start cooking.
That's why our homemade stone-baked pizzas can be pre-ordered and delivered straight to your pitch. Simply arrive, get settled and let us take care of dinner.
Our peaceful site is also ideal for getting a good night's sleep before continuing your journey.

For cyclists who prefer a little more comfort, we also offer our luxury B&B accommodation, with comfortable beds, beautiful surroundings and a delicious breakfast included.
