Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can we have a campfire or BBQ?
We don’t allow open fires or fire pits on site. Guests are very welcome to bring their own BBQs, as long as they are raised off the ground. Please take care to dispose of charcoal safely by leaving it in the metal bucket next to the recycling rack.
2. Is there a toilet and shower block?
Yes, our facilities are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and are located centrally on the camping field. Hot showers are included in your stay, and there’s an indoor washing-up area with hot water too.
3. Do you allow dogs?
We welcome well-behaved dogs on the camping field and in our glamping pod but not in the B&B. Please keep dogs on leads at all times and clear up after them.

4. Is there Wi-Fi or mobile signal?
There’s good mobile signal across most of the site. We offer free Wi-Fi in the camping area. Guests are required to sign in using their email address.

5. Can we freeze ice packs?
Yes, we are happy to freeze ice packs, just hand them to us directly. For safety and hygiene, we don't allow guest access to our freezer.

6. Are children allowed?
Abbey Green Farm has adults-only Bed & Breakfast accommodation, but we welcome well-behaved children and families on our camping and glamping pitches. Please note that children must be supervised at all times, especially in the play area.

8. Is the site quiet at night?
Yes, we are a peaceful site, and ask all guests to observe quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. We don’t allow amplified music, and we ask for consideration of others at all times.

9. Do you sell food or have a café?
We offer delicious homemade bacon & egg sandwiches for camping and glamping guests, and breakfast is included with B&B stays. We don’t have a café, but we serve homemade pizzas (Pre-order 12 hours in advance), chips, cream tea and luxury ice cream/sorbets.

10. How do I book?
All bookings can be made directly through our website via our secure booking system. Simply click the “Book camping” button to check availability and rates. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.

11. Do you sell gifts?
Yes, we sell a variety of handmade gifts from solid oak chopping boards to wash bags and pencil cases. Made by hosts, Philip & Rose.
Dogs
We welcome well behaved dogs but they must be kept on a lead at all times.
We have some quiet country lanes right on our doorstep for walking your dog.
