The Bees Knees bug hotel

A hand made bug hotel made from larch. Encourage solitary bees and lacewings into your garden to keep all those greenflies at bay. Ladybirds and their larvae are great garden insects because they eat aphids ! Give them a home over winter in this luxury bug hotel and you wont need to use pesticides. The perfect hibernation pad for solitary bees, ladybirds, woodlice and bumblebees, all beneficial for your garden.

Oak Planters

A handmade beautiful 100% Oak handcrafted planter.
This is handmade in rural Shropshire by Abbey Wood Crafts, using solid English oak. It will silver and develop cracks over time, so we've given it a chalky finish that highlights and hints at the silvery patina.

Dimensions are 18" high, 18" wide, and 18" deep.
These can be also made to order using your own measurements making them totally bespoke to you.

As it is made from solid oak, the grain and soft colour will change over time much like the rest of your garden.

The planter is lined to protect the Oak.
There are nylon pads which raise the planter off the floor to protect it from damp underfoot.

Chunky oak door stop

Whether you use our handmade door stops for holding open a door on those hot, steamy, summer days, or to help with your fitness regime; they will certainly do the trick.
These chunky solid oak door stops would also look wonderful at a country wedding to attach helium-filled balloons.
Makes the perfect paperweight too!

Made by Philip with great care and attention in locally grown Larch, which will last for years and years with no treatment. Larch is a perfect example of an eco wood.

The Handle is made from a piece of local willow.

A safe method of cutting firewood with a chainsaw. The design allows for a log to be cut safely multiple times without the need to reposition the log. And if you accidentally catch the sawhorse with your chainsaw, you are not going to dull your chain, and have to re sharpen it.
